There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the CBE. The level of questions will range from easy to moderate. To qualify for the PE&MT, candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying marks in each section as set forth by the SSC.

The PE&MT is the second stage of the selection process and it is qualifying in nature. This means that the marks obtained in this stage will not be counted for the final merit list, but only to shortlist candidates for the Medical Examination. The PE&MT is scheduled and conducted by the Delhi Police in Delhi only. The PE&MT consists of two parts: Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). The SSC Constable Executive PE&MT syllabus 2023 covers the physical standards and fitness criteria required for the candidates to qualify for the Medical Examination. The candidates have to meet the minimum height and chest measurements as per their category and gender.
